On This Day in Pink History… 26th March 2004, Pink played at the Manchester Arena on the Try This Tour. The show was recorded for Pink’s first live DVD.

Celebrating 10 years since the Try This tour!

The Try This tour had 3 legs, the first in Europe as an arena tour, 2nd in Australia, and 3rd as a summer tour in Europe.

The arena tour was split into four acts, each representing her three albums and an acoustic act. The first act was to support her first album Can’t Take Me Home and Pink wore a massive pink mohican. For the second act she wore a long blonde wig to support her second album Missundaztood. The acoustic act saw Pink wearing a long burnt style American flag dress. For the forth act to support Try This she lost the wigs and performed in a rock chick style get up. Finally, for the encore, she walked through the arena floor wearing an outfit fitting for a cover of the Guns n Roses song Welcome to the Jungle. For the finale, she performed Get The Party Started up in the air on silks.
